Hello! What's your background?
Hey, I’m Jon. I’m originally from Argentina but I’ve lived in Poland for the last 16 years.
I spent over 10 years running an import/export business and an e-commerce site. But in 2022, I realized that physical product businesses scale problems just as much as they scale revenue.
So I sold my shares and went all in on building a digital product that could scale without all the complexity. That shift led me to explore AI, data, and no-code tools.
What did you make and how did you come up with the idea?
AIselfi.es came directly from a problem I had during my Master’s in AI.
During my AI studies, every presentation required a personal photo.
And I didn’t have one I liked. No professional headshots. Nothing recent. I hated photo shoots. Even my graduation felt awkward because I didn’t have a decent photo to represent myself.
At the same time, I was obsessed with testing new AI image generation tools. They were improving rapidly and I had a thought, why not combine my pain point with this new tech?
That’s how AIselfi.es was born.
You upload a few selfies, and the AI generates dozens of high-quality, professional images — no cameras, no studio, no stress.
The idea is simple, upload some selfies and get professional-looking AI-generated photos of yourself, without needing a photographer or studio.
What problem does it solve?
AIselfi.es helps people get professional-looking photos fast.
Think about how many moments require a good profile pic:
LinkedIn
Work presentations
Personal branding sites
Speaker bios
If you don’t enjoy photo shoots (like me), you’re probably stuck using old or casual photos. With AIselfi.es, all it takes is a few selfies. We do the rest.
It’s perfect for anyone who wants to look polished online without needing a DSLR, makeup team, or awkward posing.
Can you walk us through how it works?
Which No-Code tools did you use to build and run it?
AIselfi.es is powered by a mix of no-code tools, AI models, and automation platforms that help me keep things lean as a solo founder.
Here’s the full stack:
Cursor: Main app and landing page, powered by Claude 3.7 & 4 OpenAI Content creation + integrated features
Notion: Blog backend (auto-publishes to live site)
N8N: WhatsApp chatbot for customer support
Make: Workflow automations (onboarding, delivery, etc.)
Google Forms: Feedback + bug reports
Senja: Collecting & showcasing testimonials
Canva: Image design & graphics
CapCut: Promo videos & edits
This hybrid AI/no-code setup means I can move fast and automate as much as possible.
For example:
Customers upload selfies through the app (built with Cursor)
Their order triggers workflows in Make to process it
A WhatsApp chatbot (via N8N) handles questions
Feedback flows straight to Google Forms and into Notion
Testimonials get shared with Senja and reused in marketing
The goal is to keep things simple, flexible, and scalable without needing a full team.
What was your business model and how have you grown your revenue?
The business model is one-time payments, no subscriptions (yet).
Here’s the pricing:
Basic: $2940 AI-generated photos
Pro: $39 - 100 photosBusiness
Business: $99 - 500 photos (for up to 5 people)
I launched with a simple LinkedIn post and direct outreach. Within 3 days, I had:
5,000 impressions
550 site visitors
4 paying users ($130 in revenue)
The turning point came when a few users asked for free trials. I agreed, in exchange for public testimonials.
Each time someone shared their results, those posts generated spikes in traffic and sales. That social proof created momentum.
By the end of month 1:
5,500 visitors
98 orders
$2,241 in revenue
How have you attracted users and grown your product?
Right now, LinkedIn is my main growth engine.
It’s where I share what I’m building, post behind-the-scenes content, and connect with others. I grew from a few hundred to 5,000+ followers in a short time by staying consistent and being transparent.
That said, user-generated content has been the most effective growth driver. When customers share their results, it builds trust instantly. No ad or sales page can compete with that.
Other strategies I’m using:
SEO – slowly building up long-tail blog content
Affiliate program – early experiments with creator partners
Right now, it’s about experimenting, tracking what works, and doubling down on what moves the needle.
What’s your advice for No-Code Makers who are just starting out or want to sell their business?
I know it’s cliché, but seriously, just launch.
You don’t need a perfect product. You need a working one. Let real users tell you what matters. Their feedback will shape the direction faster and better than any internal debate or planning session.
And don’t sleep on word-of-mouth. It’s free, compounding, and far more effective.
