Hello Akhil, tell us a little bit about yourself.
I’m a product designer based in India. While always fascinated with the idea of building digital products, I felt restrained because I couldn’t code. So when I discovered no-code tools, that was a game changer.
Shipping this project has had a profound effect on my outlook towards building things in general. I'm feeling more excited than ever about the projects I can build.
Tell us about your product that you made?
I built Letterhunt together with Madan to solve a personal pain point to get more relevant impressions for promoting our products.
B2B marketers are always looking for channels with relevant audiences for marketing. Newsletters have emerged as an interesting channel to reach out to relevant audiences. However, finding the right newsletter and reaching out to the authors takes a lot of time.
That is why we build LetterHunt. We created an extensive directory of 10k+ active newsletters from 20+ categories, with engagement and post frequency and one-click outreach.
Browsing the site is free but limited. If you want to get the complete 10,000+ newsletter database you pay $99. The entire database of newsletters took us a few weeks to curate. Softr made it possible to turn this int a nice looking website in no time.

How did you launch and grow your product?
We launched it on Product Hunt and became Product of the day and Product of the week which resulted in a lot of visibility and sales.
We also listed it on AppSumo.
And we were lucky to get a lot of word of mouth from influential persons. For example from Dickie Bush and KP.
Why did you choose to build with No-Code?
For someone who does not code, finding a technical co-founder is a huge challenge. With Softr, we realized soon that we had found a reliable tech co-founder, who could give us an MVP in 15 min!

People are always looking for change-the-world ideas. Instead, you can start small, take the first step, see your idea materialize into a living breathing product, and move toward something bigger step by step.
